This is such an exciting time for you! My name is Nilo Burke, and I am the owner and photographer behind Nilo Burke Photography LLC! I am so excited that you’re interested in my photography services. I would like to tell you a little about myself, my family, and the heart behind my photography business.

- My husband and I having been married for nearly 11 years!
- He is the thinker and I am the dreamer of the family.
- I have a beautiful step-daughter who has a heart of gold!
- My two little girls are the light of my eyes and the WHY behind my life.
- We also have a yellow lab, Penny, who came into our life thanks to one of my past couples. She is precious, and we cannot imagine life without her.
- I began my photography business in 2010, officially! It's 2020 and I don't see an end in sight for my beloved business!
- I am the lead photographer at your wedding/event. I am also the only person who runs my business 100%.
-This, one of my goals is to write a children's book incorporating my daughters' adventures. I can't wait to see the shape this book to take and how it'll shape our lives.

I love tea and coffee. So naturally I love collecting tea cups and tea pots.
I write letters, stories, biographies of my loved ones, How-To instructional booklets for my daughter, and love letters to my beloved husband.
I love feeding my family and my friends. I love making my daughter and stepdaughter their favorite dishes.

My Philosophy
I believe that as much as you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When my couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images! Our photographer made us feel so comfortable and for the first time, I experienced what it feels like to be in front of the camera as a bride. Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience..... shouldn’t it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? I think so! My goal is not only to capture memories for my clients, it’s to create an experience that they will never forget.
I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! Our goal as wedding photographers is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When my couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images!
When I think back to my wedding day, I remember amazing memories.... but most of the moments I remember really well are the instances that were captured in my pictures. They are priceless to me. Our photographer made us feel so comfortable and for the first time, I experienced what it feels like to be in front of the camera as a bride. My Process
First: Relationships are everything! I build a positive relationship with my clients by getting on a phone call with them immediately after an inquiry to get to know them and their story. From there, we proceed toward booking your date and the details of your wedding day.
Second: I schedule an engagement session with you and have a fantastic time getting to know each other futher over the engagement session!

Why invest
Your first decision as an engaged couple is to set priorities for your wedding planning. Making photography your top priority says that you value memories captures on your wedding day and take pride in displaying your images in your home. After the big day is over, you will leave your reception with a spouse & your pictures.... that’s it! If you are choosing to invest in high quality photography, those images deserve a classy, elegant home after the wedding. I offer high end, leather bound Legacy Albums for my wedding clients. The images are printed straight onto the pages and the covers are wrapped with top grain leather. This is the perfect ending to The Wedding Experience and it’s a keepsake that you will be showing your children and grandchildren one day!

I am more than willing to travel for engagement sessions! I actually love it when my couples ask me to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! I book engagement sessions at least two months in advance and 60 miles of travel are included.

I average 75-100 images per hour that I am shooting. I love delivering my client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. I believe in freely sharing my work because that is what I would want if I were in your shoes!

I am often asked if 10 hours are enough time to capture the full wedding story, and my answer always is yes! My main goal right now is to save your date. You can always add additional coverage as we get closer to the big day and we have a good idea of your timeline.

My style
I love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there. (The ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc.) I teach my couples how to pose, model and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don’t need quite as much instruction from us!

Once I have answered any questions you may have and you have decided that my Wedding Experience is exactly what you’re looking for on your wedding day, the next step is a booking proposal. I will create an online proposal that will walk you through the package and when you’re ready you can save your date by signing your contract and paying your deposit online.

Before our wedding I heard many people say, "You'll never look at your wedding photos again," or express some kind of disappointment with how their photos turned out. I can honestly say that we love our wedding photos and feel very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Nilo on our special day. Nilo did such a wonderful job capturing, not only the details of our wedding, but who we are as a couple and the emotions that we felt on our wedding day.
